International Dental and Laboratory Equipment Exhibition
The International Healthcare and Medical Exhibition was established in 2001 to attract those who are in the medical fields to interact with each other and to stay updated with the latest medical and scientific innovations and achievements as the philosophy and the industry of specialized exhibitions became one of the most distinguished attributes of our modern time and one of its most important commercial and marketing conducts as the exhibitions serves as a focal meeting point between the suppliers and purchasers, and offers information about competing products, quality and other factors taken into consideration while deciding which are the right products for each market.
The 5th edition of the International Dentalcare and Medical Exhibition will be held from 4th to 7th November, 2010 at Yaman Land in Aleppo - Syria to confirm its position as one of the leading medical and economical event that brings the wholesalers and distributers with the medical and scientific community under one roof.
Due to the tremendous success and the great benefits that exhibitors and visitors had gained by attending Healthcare Exhibition, we decided to launch an exhibition dedicated to the dental and laboratories sectors under the brand name Healthcare Dental to become today the largest specialized dental and laboratory’s equipments exhibition in Syria.
Healthcare Dental will provides platform to manufacturers, traders and services providers to launch their latest innovations and technologies. It will also serve as a gateway for expanding their market to reach the Middle East and North Africa region.
The show coincides annually with 2 major conferences, the “Third Congress in Dentistry”, organized by Office of Practicing the Profession and of Faculty of Dentistry at Damascus University and “The Scientific Conference for Dental Technicians” organized by the Syrian Committee of Technicians in Damascus, Syria where remarkable local, Arab and foreign speakers and professors will present varied and diverse topics. 700 Dentists and 1,000 Dental Laboratory technicians attended 2009 conferences.

Dentalcare exhibition was launched as a standalone exhibition in 2005 branching from Healthcare Exhibition, the largest specialized medical and dental healthcare exhibition in the Arab region after the United Arab Emirates.
Dentalcare 2010 will be held from 15th to 18th April, 2010 at Damascus Fairgrounds, Syria and will provides a platform to manufacturers, traders and services providers to launch their latest innovations and technologies. It will also serve as a gateway for expanding their market to reach the Middle East and North Africa region.

Syria Strategic Location:
Located at the heart of the Middle East mediating three continents (Europe, Asia and Africa), the Syrian Arab Republic rest on the eastern cost of the Mediterranean Sea bounded by Turkey to the North, Iraq to the East, Palestine & Jordan from the South and by Lebanon & the Mediterranean Sea to the West.

Extent and Population:
The total area of the Syrian Arab Republic is 18,517,971 hectares, it accommodates 22,331,000 inhabitants (11,220,000 Males and 11,111,000) with a Population growth rate of 2.37%.
Facts & Figures:
Syrian Government allocated approximately 40 billion Syrian Pound (US$850 million) for improving the health and medical sectors in 2008, the Syrian Investment Board has exempted / supported more than 25 investing medical projects. These projects included setting up hospitals and drug factories in addition to offering medical supplies with the cost of 4 billion Syrian Pounds (US$85 millions). These developments came as a result for applying the rules of the Investment Law No. /8/.
Currently the Syrian Ministry of Health negotiates with the European Investment Bank to obtain fund for founding 22 new medical projects in 2010 costing US$300 millions. Some of these projects are Pediatric Hospitals in Damascus, Tartous, Al Rakka and Hasakeh with sum of 360 beds, Heart - Disease Center in Deir-ez-zor with a capacity of 160 beds, Tumor Centers in Homs and in Aleppo with the capacity of 160 beds each.
Added to that, there will be several new 60-bed hospitals in the Syrian countryside for serving patients; thus helping big hospitals in Syrian cities present more medical services for all citizens.
